Facts

The earliest known ice creams are from the fifth century BC, when ancient Greeks ate snow mixed with honey and fruit in the markets of Athens. In the sixteenth century, Mugal Emperors used relays of horsemen to bring ice from Hind Kush to Delhi, where it was used in fruit sorbets. Ice cream is also used to prepare other desserts like Sundaes and Milkshakes. Ice cream mix powders allows anyone to make homemade ice cream by simply mixing ingredients and freezing. Among the hundreds of flavours available the world over the most popular still remains the Vanilla and Chocolate.

Ingredients

Bakers Ice Cream Powder
Milk 500 ml


Preparation

Set the refrigerator to the coolest temperature before preparing the ice cream

Empty the contents of the Bakers Ice Cream pack in half litre of milk and heat it to a boiling point for 2 to 3 minutes stirring it constantly to make a homogenous liquid. Transfer this mixture into an aluminium tray(Let the thickness be not more than 2 cm), allow it to cool and then freeze it for 2-3 hours.

Remove the trays and beat it with an electric blender, until smooth, transfer this smooth cream into the aluminium tray and place it back into the freezer covering it with a polythene sheet

Allow it t cool for half an hour and your delicious Ice Cream is ready
