Potassium Metabisulphite



Potassium Metabisulphate is used as a preservative to preserve the natural colour of food and protect it against bacteria. It is used in wine and beer industry as an additive during the bottling process for ‘stabilizing’ or prevention of growth of micro organisms. It is can be added to lemon juice or pickles as a preservative and is used as a bleaching agent in the production of coconut cream
